Utah Bighorn Sheep Hunts
Rocky Mountain, Desert Sheep, and California Bighorn Sheep Hunts in Utah.
Sheep tags are hard to get anywhere, however it is possible to get a Utah bighorn sheep tag by purchasing a tax deductible conservation tag.
Conservation tags are 100% tax deductible for the buyer. This conservation money is used on wildlife projects here in Utah. It’s money well spent for wildlife and habitat. These tags allow us to hunt the premium areas without waiting to draw a tag. We can assist you in purchasing these tags and help you apply for the Utah big game drawings.

Lucky dog! Did you draw a Utah sheep tag? If so, I can help you find a great outfitter to help you get your ram.
If you’re like most sheep hunters, that desert ram is probably eluding you. If you have the means, and you’re tired of waiting, we can help you set up a desert bighorn hunt in Mexico.
Things are settling down in Mexico, and it has gotten much safer, but many of our clients are still choosing to hunt their desert sheep in Utah for about the same price and the hunt is very smooth and without the risk. Tags are bought at auction and the total cost is often close to what you will pay in Mexico anyway.

I have always heard this is a shooters hunt, this couldn’t be more true. The shortest shooting distance on our hunt was 206 yards, with the longest being 440 yards. That being said, we did have some great opportunities that could have been successful with a bow.
Just a little more than an hour into the hunt, I took a great 32 1/2″ ram after a short stalk with little cover and a 325 yard shot. Hit well, the ram ran about 40 yards and went down. What a way to start the hunt!
