Athlon Midas Tactical Scope 6-24x50 SF APLR4 MOA 30mm FFP
A first focal plane tactical scope with a 30mm tube, 50mm objective, and 6-24x magnification range. The side focus parallax adjustment and APLR4 MOA reticle make it practical for precision shooting at varying distances, and at 26.3 oz it sits in a reasonable weight class for a scope this size.

First focal plane scopes earn their keep when you're shooting at multiple magnification settings and need your reticle subtensions to stay true — that's the real reason to pay for FFP over SFP. Hunters who only ever crank to max power and leave it there are buying more scope than they need.
