De Wet Hunting Safaris is owned and run by operator and professional hunter De Wet van Wyk.
Born in 1991 in South Africa, De Wet has been hunting from a very early age and always aspired to be a Professional Hunter. After obtaining his professional hunters licence in 2012, De Wet has hunted throughout numerous countries in Southern Africa, gaining invaluable experience and learning from some of the best professional hunters and operators in Africa. De Wet is currently based in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and for the last seven years has been spending over 200 days a year hunting between South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Namibia. During his travels he has been in search of the perfect dangerous and plains game hunting concessions to offer his clients.
De Wet Hunting Safaris have surrounded themselves with some of the most skilled and experienced staff in the industry in order to fulfil their quest: “to offer top quality hunting safaris, combined with personalized service and comfortable accommodation”
You’ll show up as a client, and you’ll leave as family. South Africa safari hunts are an experience you won’t soon forget!
Based in the Limpopo Province of South Africa our home lodge “Savannah” is nestled beautifully under the shade of towering Acacia trees. It is here that we offer our clients over 30 different huntable species including the dangerous seven. The cape buffalo hunting concession is something special.
Our South Africa hunting safaris are tailored to your needs. You’ll hunt with a top notch PH, stay in a 5-Star lodge, and enjoy exceptional trophy quality on a huge ranch. The average concession is huge with miles of mountainous terrain, interspersed with valleys and river bottoms, you will be amazed at the number of plains game animals you see.
