We offer a wide variety of elk hunts in some of the best units, with access to private land bordering BLM lands inaccessible to others unless they hunt by helicopter or horse back. Our hunts range from migratory late hunts, to trophy bulls and include options of archery, muzzle loader and rifle. We’ll help you to harvest 4×4 to 6×6 bull elk on over 150,000 acres; if you’re interested we also offer cow elk hunts on a limited basis. In trophy areas we strive for a 350 class bull or better. We can have you hunting from September through January and over the past 3 years our success rate has been 75%
This outfitter is also involved with the Ranching For Wildlife program on some of their ranches.
Our Advice is Free
I have a strong passion for hunting and enjoy seeing new country. I live in Va so I don’t know who to talk to or trust when I want to go out west on a trip. I also have a busy schedule and not a lot of time to research guides and land to hunt on. That’s wear Outdoor Internationals hunting consultant’s come into play. This is my fourth year booking with Marc Warnke and I can say every trip has been a great time.
Everything that Outdoors International has recommended to me, from hunts to outfitters to gear choices, has been 100% spot-on. I can’t imagine doing it any other way.
Mostly born and raised in around our hunting areas our guides are very knowledgeable about the terrain, wildlife habitat, and herd migration of the animals you’ll be hunting. We offer 2-on-1 and 1-on-1 guide service. All of our guides are certified in CPR and First Aid.
Food and Lodging
When you stay with us you’ll be at 1 of 7 different camps ranging from a 12 bedroom, 24 bed lodge to our rustic 2 bedroom cabin (with running water) on generator power, propane for cooking, bunk beds, small living area, bathhouse, portable restrooms, and a wood stove (this do-it-yourself hunt includes an ATV or side by side and horses can be leased if desired).
Most of the camps have access to private hunting ground and also border BLM and Ranching for Wildlife lands.
Several of the camps have rivers and creeks offering world class fishing.
Every camp has a staffed kitchen on site to provide home style meals cooked from scratch. For breakfast we’ll prepare homemade biscuits and gravy, pancakes, omelets, and french toast accompanied by a variety of juices and coffee served each morning and for the light breakfast eaters there will be cereal, granola, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. Lunches are typically fresh made deli sandwiches, brats and hamburgers on the portable grill or camp fire, along with chips, sweets, fruit, and drinks. These lunches will be sent out with the guides in most of the camps. If lunch is served in camp you can count on homemade soups, stews, chili, burgers, and fresh sandwiches.
Our dinner menu is what the hunters love most. You can expect prime rib, beef filets, fried chicken and mashed potatoes, stew with homemade biscuits, lasagna and garlic bread, pork ribs, and rack of lamb just to name a few.
We will gladly pick up and drop off clients at the nearest airport on the day of their scheduled arrival and departure. The airport does offer vehicle rentals though if you wish to drive yourself the approximately 20 miles to the main lodge.
