When it comes to African Safari, there’s three types of people in this world:
- People that can’t wait to get there;
- Those lucky few who have been on a safari and can’t wait to get back, and;
- Those poor unfortunate souls that don’t realize that Africa should be at the top of their bucket list.
Which type of hunter are you?
A recent review we received from a hunter says it best: “I’ve seen video and documentaries and movies of African Safaris; I’ve heard hunting stories from people who’d been there; none of that ever came close to describing the first hand experience (the vibration of the ground because you’re that close) of seeing and being in close vicinity with those animals; of sometimes never even seeing them but knowing that they are there; of being in Africa.”
Here’s some friendly advice. If you haven’t been, you need to go. And don’t save it for “when you’re too old to hunt in North America.” We hear that all the time. Also, beware of the cheapest PH’s that are too willing to give you a deal. Go with an outfitter who offers an “all inclusive” price so that there are no surprises at the end of your safari.
