Wyoming Mule Deer Hunting Season
These rifle hunts take place Oct 1-14, and give hunters a great opportunity to take a great Mule Deer and even an Antelope.
These Wyoming Mule Deer hunts are almost exclusively spot and stalk with opportunity for ambush set ups. A typical day’s hunt starts out with a hearty home cooked meal then you will load up with your guide and head out to different locations to glass and spot & stalk. You have the option to hunt all day, as the terrain does allow for spotting Mule Deer in their beds, and then return to the bunkhouse for a fantastic home cooked dinner. Overall this hunt is not very physical and is great for hunters of all abilities.
Opportunity Rates and Trophy Quality
Opportunity rates on this Wyoming hunt is near 100% with the average bucks harvested being in the 135-150 range, with 160-170s being taken most every year.
This area of Wyoming is loaded with Antelope, while hunting you will see tons of Pronghorn Antelope, which makes this a great hunt to combo with Antelope for an additional fee, which will also add an extra day to your hunt. These Pronghorn bucks average 12-15”.
Hunters can fly into Denver, Cheyenne or Casper where they will rent a vehicle and drive to camp which is located approximately 45 minute Northeast of Casper or 30 minutes Northwest of Douglas.
