New Record SCI Grizzly Bear Taken by One of Our Outfitters!

New World Record Grizzly Bear

This last April, Bob Steed was sitting and glassing from a vantage point with his guide, who, by the way, has guided well over 100 successful grizzly hunters, when they spotted this monster griz feeding on a fresh moose kill. After a three mile stalk on snowshoes in tricky mountain winds, they were able to close to 125 yards. Bob anchored the big bear with four well placed shots. The grizzly ended up going 9 ½ feet with a 28 ½ inch skull making him the new #1 Record SCI Grizzly. Congratulations on a great hunt and an incredible animal.

Do You Want to Hunt Where Records Are Made?

This is a great opportunity to hunt truly big grizzlies and better yet combo it up with fantastic moose. This outfitter on average takes bigger bears in the Spring and the best part about it is that it is not a really difficult hunt physically. So, if you are interested in taking the Alaska hunt of a lifetime for a giant bear (avg 8ft+), moose (avg 60”+ for over 37 yrs) and more (caribou, sheep, black bear and world class fishing) we still have a few openings left for spring bear, fall bear and fall bear/moose combos. He has been in business for over 37 years and you will be hard pressed to find a better grizzly or moose hunt anywhere.
