Outfitter Report: Idaho Shiras Moose

Chuck drew a coveted Shiras Moose tag in Idaho. Due to some health problems, he couldn’t make it for the opener, so he had to schedule his hunt a little later. By the time he flew into the hunting area, elk hunters had a camp set up in the main moose hunting area. They hunted for a week and didn’t see any moose. What a disappointment.

A few weeks later, Chuck flew in again. They only had a few days to hunt, and on the last hour of the last day, they finally found a good bull. They snuck in and Chuck made a great shot to put him down. Congratulations Chuck.
