Hunting Season
Idaho mountain lion hunts start in mid November and run through February.

Hunting Method
Mountain lion hunting starts early in the morning and you will cover as much country as possible by 4-wheeler, snowmobile, truck, or the guides may even snowshoe to cut a mature lion track. Once a track is cut, they let the dogs go and watch and listen to them work, it’s really amazing to see hounds in action.
