Mouflon sheep hunting takes place on the on the island of Lanai. Some of the only free-range mouflan hunting in the United States. Hawaii mouflan sheep live in pockets of rough country from sea level up to 2800′.
Black Hawaiian sheep hunting in Hawaii is a ton of fun and you will see large herds of sheep every day on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Spanish goat hunting is incredible. It is not uncommon to see 200-300 Spanish goats per day with excellent trophy quality!
Polynesian wild boar hunting is part of Hawaii’s culture. Spot-and-stalk boar hunting takes place in late evening and early morning for 100-200 lb. boars with 2-5 inch tusks.
“Vancouver” bulls are basically wild cattle that arrived to Hawaii in 1778 as a gift to King Kamehameha from Captain George Vancouver. A startled or wounded bull is dangerous, so this hunt is not for the faint of heart.
Once you arrive in Hawaii, travel will vary based on the species and island you will be hunting. Most hunters choose to stay at one of Hawaii’s many hotels.
