“Hello everybody, we had a great opening day, Mickey Layman shot a huge 195 1/2 B&C yesterday. The buck sports 2 non-typical points totalling 30 inches.”

Another Record Deer Harvest in South Dakota

According to the South Dakota Division of Wildlife, South Dakota hunters can look back on 2007 as another record-setting year for deer harvest.
According to harvest surveys, last year saw the all-time highest recorded deer harvest in the state and it was the eighth straight year that deer harvest has increased.
