Bear season started slow due to all of the snow this spring, but things are heating up now.
Father and Son, Jerry and Pete S. each shot bears on Saturday. Pete’s bear was so old he only had one tooth and it was hanging by a piece of skin. Skull size of these boars measured 19″ and 18 3/4″. Great Idaho color phase bears. [more info]

You can see that bears tooth hanging out. That’s pretty crazy. Probably wasn’t going to make it much longer. Good one to take and a nice hide too. I love color phase black bears.
