Alberta Trophy Whitetail Hunt
Hunt Description
Located in the heart of the Peace River Country in North Western Alberta which is renowned for producing huge Whitetail along with trophy Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, and Black Bear. The Massive antler growth and body mass common in the big game in this area is contributed to the abundance of agricultural crop. Geographically we are situated approx. 350 miles Northwest of Edmonton or 60 miles North of Grande Prairie.
Most Alberta Whitetail hunts are offered in the early fall and throughout the month of November to capitalize on the various phases of the rut. We have experienced ten consecutive mild winters which has led to a large increase in game population and trophy quality. Hunting techniques include using enclosed field towers, ground lines, tree stands, and spotting and stalking. The success of your hunt greatly depends on your physical fitness and your shooting ability; common shots in this open country are 250+ yards.
For you archers: Late August through early September, there is one archery moose tag available, so you could have a whitetail / moose combo hunt.
These hunts are in a high demand and usually booked years in advance. If you want to go on this hunt you need to contact your broker soon.
