Idaho Wilderness Archery Elk Hunt

Hunt Description
This is a seven-day, fly-in, wilderness archery elk hunt. Archery elk season runs all of September during the elk rut, hunters may harvest either bull or cow elk. The bulls are bugling and the Idaho mountains are beautiful this time of year. It is our favorite time to be out in the backcountry. If you are a serious archery hunter, this hunt is for you. They’ve killed some big bull elk over the years and to top it all off, this hunt can be a combo for elk, mule deer, mountain lion and bear. Elk tags for this hunt are guaranteed over the counter.
Depending on where and how you choose to hunt, your Idaho elk hunting experience could vary from a lodge elk hunt to a complete pack-in elk hunt up to fifteen miles from the trailhead. Elk hunting is by horseback and on foot. Elevations in Idaho can range anywhere from 3500′ to 9500′. Elk camps consist of wall tents, cook tent, shower and delicious meals. Guides are experienced elk hunters and know the areas well.
*Just as a side note, your non-resident Idaho mule deer tag can be used to tag a black bear, mountain lion OR a mule deer.
