This area is renowned for incredible Alberta whitetail hunting.
Located in the heart of the Peace River Country in North Western Alberta which is renowned for producing huge Whitetail along with trophy Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, and Black Bear. The Massive antler growth and body mass common for trophy whitetail in this area is contributed to the abundance of agricultural crop. Geographically they are situated approx. 350 miles Northwest of Edmonton or 60 miles North of Grande Prairie.
Most Alberta Whitetail hunting is in the early fall and throughout the month of November to capitalize on the various phases of the rut. Hunting techniques include using enclosed field towers, ground lines, tree stands, and spotting and stalking. This is a fairly easy hunt for trophy whitetail. Expect to see a lot of deer as well as other game.
